Schedule Your Eye Exam Today
Your eye exam at Bis-Man Eye Care Associates will include a thorough evaluation of your vision. We will present you with all of your options to manage any vision difficulties you are having, including blurred vision, eye strain, and difficulties working on the computer.
Vision is only one aspect of the eye exam. We will also provide you with an in-depth examination of your eye health. Many sight-threatening conditions develop with no symptoms. Early diagnosis and treatment of any issues are the best ways to prevent vision loss. Give us a call at (701) 258-3402 to schedule an eye exam.

Children's Exams
Good vision is essential to succeed at school. Many vision problems progress gradually. Kids are often not even aware that their vision has deteriorated. Our doctors have many years of experience working with children, both in our office and in schools.
We will ensure that your child is seeing optimally, that their eyes are healthy, and that they have the focusing and aiming skills required in the classroom.
Contact Lens Exams
Our doctors are experts in contact lens technology! We are experienced with:
- Soft contacts
- Hard contacts
- Bifocal contacts
- Astigmatism contacts
- Daily disposable contacts
- Extended wear contacts
We provide a personalized lens fitting to ensure we find the lens that best fits your visual needs. We offer all of the leading brands, including Acuvue, Bausch & Lomb, Alcon, and CooperVision. We'll teach you how to put them in, take them out, and care for them.
Because contact lenses touch the eyes, they carry more risk of complication than glasses. For this reason, contact lens wearers should have an eye exam annually.
LASIK Exams
Our office provides all pre and post-op care for LASIK and other refractive surgery procedures such as PRK. We work closely with several area surgeons. So, if you have had LASIK or are considering it (Am I a candidate for Lasik?), rely on us to answer your questions and provide all of your pre and post-operative care. Visit www.lasik.com for more information.
Dilated Exams
Some conditions require more detailed evaluations of the inside of the eye. Diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration are some of the leading causes of blindness in the United States. With your permission, the doctor may use eye drops to enlarge your pupils.
This allows the doctor to see the inside of the eye more clearly. Afterward, your vision may be blurred for several hours. We will provide you with sunglasses since light sensitivity is also common following a dilated exam. If the doctor recommends dilating the pupils and you are not prepared to do so, that part of the exam can be scheduled for another day.
Eye Injuries and Medical Eye Exams
With multiple locations and extended hours, we are always available in an emergency. Our doctors are experienced in removing foreign bodies, treating eye infections and allergies, and managing many eye diseases.
We are also your authority for diagnosing and treating ocular surface disease (dry eye). Visit www.tearlab.com/patients.htm for more information.
